"kayu"

ga ada orang pacaran yang selamanya tersenyum. selamanya tertawa. selamanya nyengir. namun kadang diwarnai dengan makian, keegoisan, kebodohan, muka cemberut, atau bahkan menangis.

tapi jangan sampai kata "kadang" di situ diganti dengan kata "sering" ataupun "selalu". karena hubungan kita dengan orang yang kita sayangi adalah seperti sebuah kayu polos pada awalnya. semua polos. tak ada warna, kecuali warna kayu yang menenangkan dan antik.

lalu Dia tidak akan pernah diam. Dia akan menggoreskan alat-Nya untuk mulai memahat. ketika Dia memahat, kualitas "kayu" kita akan teruji oleh-Nya.

ada begitu banyak jenis kayu.

ada kayu yang ketika dilihat dari luar, terlihat rapuh. begitu Dia mulai memahat, kayu itu akan patah.

ada pula kayu yang terlihat jelek dari luar. namun ketika Dia mulai menggoreskan alat-Nya, kayu itu tak akan hancur. malah akan membuat kayu itu makin hari terlihat makin indah.

jenis kayu apakah hubungan kita?

kayu kita indah. seindah yang menciptakan hubungan kita.

kayu kita kuat. sekuat hati kita saat kita memutuskan untuk bersama.

kayu kita besar. sebesar perasaan yang selama ini ada untuk kita.

sekarang tinggal bagaimana maunya kita. kayu kita sanggup bertahan karena kita kuat.

Dia ingin mengukir kayu kita. itulah alasannya mengapa kadang ada rasa sakit, hingga air mata.

ukiran hanyalah sebuah sebuah ujian dari-Nya agar kayu kita kuat. agar kayu kita membentuk sesuatu yang membuat hubungan kita berbeda dari orang lain.

dan warna adalah kebahagiaan yang Ia berikan.

pernahkah kau melihat kayu yang telah terukir indah dengan warna di dalamnya? ukiran hanya untuk membentuknya. selebihnya, warnalah yang membuatnya menjadi indah sempurna. itulah mengapa kayu tidak akan indah jika hanya dihias ukiran tanpa warna, ataupun warna tanpa ukiran.

nisakah kita bertahan hingga akhirnya Dia selesai mengukir kita? dan kayu kita akan menjadi indah dengan ukiran dari-Nya dan dengan warna dari-Nya..

mm sekedar sharing aja ni. gw ktemu dy pertama kali *bner" pertama kali* tu pas Worship Nite september 2009 yg lalu. dy jd staff perkap sdgkn gw jd dancer di WN itu. dan gw sm dy tu ga ngobrol sm skali, cman tw lyad n tw nama. itupun gw tw nama krn dy yg add fb gw dlan. hahah xp tp krn wktu ntu gw uda puna co *skrg mantan* dan dy tw itu, jd yawda lose sampai di situ aja. truussss tnyata dy ikud acara Retret Hidup Baru CANDY maret kmrn *kondisi gw uda putus dgn mantan gw*. dy jd peserta, gw jd panitianya. gw mengenali dy c, cman gw ga nyapa. maluu cuyy. ga knal scara formil gtu kn. gyahahahah xp bner" ga nyangka bgth kl gw n dy dipertemukan lgi dlm suatu RHB dan qta jadian dan bs melayani Tuhan bareng". bner" jalan Tuhan bgth dehh pokokna. dan dy tu adalah sosok co yg gw cari slama ini. care BGTH, pengertian BGTH, ngejaga gw BGTH, bawel ke gw, bs nerima gw apa adanya, dan sgala sifat n sikap dy yang lainnya yang membuat gw akhirnya bs sayang sm dy. heheh :)

here are a few reasons why guys like girls :

* they will always smell good even if it's just shampoo
* the way their heads always find the right spot on our shoulders
* how cute they are when they sleep
* the ease in which they fit into our arms
* the way they kiss you and all of sudden everything is right in the world
* how cute they are when they eat
* the way they take hours to get dressed but in the end it makes it all worth while
* because they are always warm even when it's minus 30 outside
* the way they look good no matter what they wear
* the way they fish for compliments even though you both know that you think she's the most beautiful thing on this earth
* how cute they are when they argue
* the way her hand always find yours
* the way they smile
* the way you feel when you see their name on the call ID after you just had a big fight
* the way she says "let's not fight anymore" even though you know that an hour later...
* the way they kiss when you do something nice for them

* then the way they apologize for crying over something that silly

* the way their tears make you want to change the world so that it doesn't hurt her anymore... yet regardless if you love them, hate them, wish they would die or know that you would die without them... it matters not. because once in your life, whatever they were to the world they become everything to you. when you look them in the eyes, traveling to the depths of their souls and you say a million things without trace of a sound, you know that your own life is inevitable consumed within the rhytmic beatings of her very heart. we love them for a million reasons, no paper would do it justice. it is a thing not of the mind but of the heart.
